Specifically, THU, as general secretary and senior adviser of the Kayin State Border Guard Force (BGF) and investor in the Shwe Kokko Special Economic Zone, bears responsibility for, provided support for or obtained benefit from the trafficking of individuals to Shwe Kokko Special Economic Zone where they were forced to work as scammers and subject to cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment. |
