SHVIDLER is a former non-executive director of Evraz plc. As such, SHVIDLER has been involved in obtaining a benefit from or supporting the Government of Russia through working as a non-executive director of Evraz plc, an entity carrying on business in sectors of strategic significance to the Government of Russia, namely, the Russian extractives sector. |
| Eugene SHVIDLER is a longstanding business partner of Roman Arkadyevich ABRAMOVICH, with whom SHVIDLER has maintained a close relationship for decades. SHVIDLER is therefore associated with a person (Roman Arkadyevich ABRAMOVICH) who is or has been involved in destabilising Ukraine and undermining and threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, and obtaining a benefit from or supporting the Government of Russia. SHVIDLER is a former non-executive director of Evraz PLC, in which he continues to hold shares alongside other companies operating in sectors of strategic significance to the Russian Government, primarily the Russian extractives sector. As such, SHVIDLER is or has been involved in obtaining a benefit from or supporting the Government of Russia through carrying on business in a sector of strategic significance to the Government of Russia. |
